02 · Patton standard
We verify the circuit rating matches the fixture load, check that the box is rated for the fixture weight, make all connections secure, and test the fixture before we leave.
For ceiling fans, we always check whether the existing box is fan-rated. If not, we install a support brace before mounting the fan. This is a critical safety step.
