Electrical Outlet Replacement

A better project starts with a better plan

Home improvements with a clear path from first conversation to final walkthrough.

Old outlets can become loose, cracked, or warm to the touch. We replace them with new, code-compliant outlets that are safe and reliable.

We also install GFCI-protected outlets in kitchens, bathrooms, garages, and outdoor locations where code requires them. Adding GFCI protection is one of the most important safety upgrades we make.

When outlet replacement prevents bigger problems

A warm outlet, sparking, smoke, burning odor, or repeated breaker trip is a safety warning—not a routine replacement. Shut off power only if you can do so safely, leave the area if needed, and contact emergency services or a licensed electrician.

For ordinary fixture-level replacement requests, we confirm the existing conditions and route regulated circuit, panel, or wiring work to the appropriate licensed electrician.

For homes in Salt Lake County built before 1970, we also look for ungrounded two-slot outlets and discuss options for upgrading to modern three-prong grounded receptacles.

  • Loose or cracked outlet faceplates replaced same-day
  • Ungrounded outlet upgrades to grounded three-prong
  • Circuit-level inspection during every replacement
  • GFCI protection added where required by code

What our neighbors say

Tracy and Travis were great. Very personable and professional. Communication was great as well. I am very happy with all the work they did after my kitchen fire and the additional extra upgrades. I would refer Patton Home Solutions for any handyman service. Pricing was fair for the extras and work was completely quickly
